Adding the Veda Frequently Bought Together Add-on to your product layout page

Step 1: Navigate to Page -> Product Pages -> Edit your created page or Create a new page button.

Step 2: Click the Add-ons tabs, and click the Add add-ons button.

Step 3: Search with the following keyword Frequently Bought Together, and then select a style that you want to use.

Step 4: Complete all settings and then click the Publish page button.

Customizing Product Badge on Frequently Bought Together 4

As the default, the Hot Price badge is added to Frequently Bought Together 4 automatically. However, you can upload a custom badge to each product.

Step 1: Log into your Shopify admin.

Step 2: Click on Products, then edit a product.

Step 3: Scroll to the Metafields box, and then upload an image to Veda Product Badge field.

Best practices for related product recommendations

As Shopify recommended, the products that you recommend can increase the chance that a customer will find relevant products, which can lead to increased sales. Consider the following best practices when designing a product recommendation strategy for your online store:

1. Choose product recommendations that you are confident customers will find useful.
2. Allow automatically generated product recommendations to display with your custom recommendations, because the automatically generated recommendations adjust to reflect changes to your products and customer activity. This will also make sure recommendations are displayed when your custom product recommendations are sold out or unpublished.

Create Frequently Bought Together Products

Step 1: Install Shopify Search & Discovery app.

Step 2: In the Shopify Search & Discovery app, click recommendations.

Step 3: Select a product that you want to customize product recommendations for.

Step 4: Select up to 10 Complementary products.

Removing Frequently Bought Together Add-on from the added section

The Frequently Bought Together can be added to multiple positions on the Product page. To remove this add-on from a section, please follow the below instructions:

Step 1: Navigate to the Add-ons tab.

Step 2: Click on the three-dot button on this add-on.

Step 3: Click the Uninstall link.
